POSTIGO GROUP attended the "International Exhibition of Road Safety and Equipment for Roads", TRAFFIC 2009. PRESENCE AT TRADE FAIRS. GRUPO POSTIGO once again attended the "International Exhibition of Road Safety and Equipment for Roads", TRAFFIC 2009, held in Madrid during the last week of October. On our stand, at this latest edition, the companies that make up the group presented their latest products relating to the world of traffic. Common to all our new products is the fact that we participate at all the various stages until the product becomes a reality: - The conception, customization and development of the industrial design - Manufacture - Installation New products presented were: - Variable message LPT Panels (Low Power Technology) with the CE marking, as the most prominent product on the stand. - Proprietary technology of LCD monitors for passenger information. - Electronic billboards, for exteriors, with SMD technology and consumption of less than 17 W. - Environmental acoustic treatment products: anti-noise screens. - Customization for clients of urban and station facilities - New safety products. - Design, manufacture and implementation of unique pedestrian walkways. 13. POSTIGO GROUP introduces its new line of variable message LPT panels (Low Power Technology). The POSTIGO GROUP presented at the "International Exhibition of Road Safety and Equipment for Roads", TRAFFIC 2009, its new line of variable message LPT panels (Low Power Technology). The LPT panels are a technological contribution from the Postigo Group’s R+D department to road safety. Their energy consumption, always less than 500 w, is the lowest achieved so far, even for higher performance panels, representing energy savings exceeding 80% when compared to those currently available on the market. This unique technology does not entail any additional cost in the price of the panels, they save energy and installation is less expensive. They need minimal sections of cable and, therefore, require simple connection work. Their operation has been proved on more than 60 panels and on the toll road AP-9 and the A1 motorway. They have, as is required since February 2007, Certification for CE-marking according to European standard EN12966.
